A specific job. An actionable review.
An ATS resume checker to tailor your application
Compare what a job asks for with what your resume demonstrates. Keyverta highlights skills, terms worth clarifying and possible wording improvements; you decide which changes accurately reflect your experience.
Free account required to analyze your resume. PDF or DOCX up to 5 MB. Usage limits keep the service available.
How to check a resume against a job
1. Provide a readable resume
Upload a PDF with selectable text or a DOCX. Check the extracted text: an image scan needs to be converted into text first.
2. Add the complete job description
Paste duties and requirements, or capture them with the extension. The job title alone provides little context.
3. Review and tailor
Check matches, gaps and suggested rewrites. Add real evidence and, if useful, generate a tailored resume and cover letter.

What a report looks like: from “I know Excel” to concrete evidence
This editorial example shows how to interpret a comparison. It does not process your data or represent a real user's result; it is not an employer ATS score.
Example job: administrative assistant
The role asks for document filing, Excel filters, email support and invoicing knowledge.
Example resume: student with a project
It says “I know Excel” and “organisation”. In class, the student logged 30 fictional orders using filters and checked duplicates. They have not worked with invoices.
Indicative match
Room for improvement
The class project shows Excel, but the resume does not explain it, and there is no evidence of filing or invoicing. The figure was prepared by hand for this demo.
Present in both texts
- Excel
- Organisation
Requirements without visible evidence
- Invoicing· High
- Document filing· Medium
- Email support· Medium
| Requirement | Evidence | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Excel filters | Used in the project, unclear in the resume | Describe the task and tool |
| Document filing | No example provided | Add only if you have done it |
| Invoicing | No demonstrated experience | Acknowledge the gap; do not invent |
Possible rewrite, if accurate
Before
I know Excel.
Suggestion
Organised 30 fictional orders in Excel for a class project, applied date filters and checked duplicates before submitting the register.
Your own analysis may include an indicative 0–100 score and AI-generated suggestions. It is not a hiring probability: always review the evidence and proposed wording.
What the report reviews
- The relationship between the job title and your resume headline.
- Skills present in both texts and requirements without visible evidence.
- Keywords in context, suggested rewrites and format warnings derived from text extraction.
- Ideas for describing achievements using figures you can substantiate.
What the score means
It is Keyverta's AI-generated estimate based on the resume and job description you provide. It does not access the employer's recruitment system or know their decisions. It may make mistakes, miss context or vary between analyses.
A high score does not guarantee an interview. Do not add a tool, qualification or years of experience simply to raise it: explain what you can actually demonstrate.
